This course is designed to teach managers and supervisors how to logically
and effectively investigate accidents. Emphasis is placed on systematic
gathering of information with the end result of preventing similar occurrences.
Managers are taught to seek both root and contributory causes. An Accident
Investigation Policy is reviewed and effective report writing is highlighted.
A videotape, actual practice in interviewing witnesses, determining causes
and corrective actions make this course "hands on". Management
principles are learned throughout the program.
